Scenic Region: Known as the "museum of karst caves", the scenic area covers a total area of about 200 square kilometers. Jiuxiang consists of five major scenic spots; it is famous for its grandeur caves, deep valleys, mountains, rivers, ethnic Yi People's minority customs and cultures.

2 hours and explore the Stone Forest Geological Park.

Forest: Located in Lunan County which is about 120 kilometers from Kunming, the Stone Forest is made up of countless awesome natural rock formations - bunches of gray stone columns which look like stalagmites. Covering an area of 400 square kilometers, the whole area is like a fantastic maze with nice walking trail.

Gate: A group of exquisite stone grottoes, rooms
and Buddhist figures carved with excellent craftsmanship
on a large natural rock. It is in Western Hill, a forest
reserve that is suited at the west bank of the Dianchi
Lake with flourishing flowers and dense forest.
Temple: The present Golden Temple was built in 1670
A.D. during the Ming Dynasty. It is the most important
and active Taoist temple in Kunming. The whole structure
of the temple is made from bronze, weighs 280 tons and
stands 6.7 metres in height and 7.8 metres in width.
Named after a kind of bamboo called Qiongzhu, it is located in the beautiful wooded Yu'an Mountain. Originally built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the monastery is famous for its collection of 500 Buddhist Arhat statues dating from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). At the back of the temple, there are many green bamboos.
