Folded Brocade Hill

Standing in the northeast part of city and facing the Li river, Diecai hill, like Duxiu peak in city and Fubo hill along the Li river,is a place for sight-seeing. It's made up of Mingyue peak (bright moon peak), Zianhe peak (erane peak), Siwang hill and Yuyue hill,covering two square kilometers. Lying across the downtown, it's a famous scenic spot for its beautiful view and smooth path for climbing.There are many beautiful scenery in the hill such as Diecai pavilion, Yuyue loft, Die-for a Righteous stone tablet to commemorate Master Ju and Master Zhang's glorious death, Yangzhitang, wind cave, Diecai tower, Looking at the River Pavilion for enjoying beautiful Li River's scenery and catching clouds pavilion. Besides these, there are stone inscription on cliff by many celebrities in Climbing up Bright moon peak and wandering around Catching Clouds pavilion visitors can have bird's eye view of the whole city of Guilin. A famous poem says"when you are enjoying spreading fog among hills around, you might wonder if you stayed in heaven".
