Tour to Dragon Gate in Western Hills by
the Dianchi Lake. After lunch, visit Qiongzhu
Temple. Transfer back to your hotel.
Dragon
Gate: It consists of the Sanqing Temple
Complex and the Dragon Gate Grotto Complex,
located in the Western Hills, it's 15 km
west of Kunming City, close to the west
shore of the Dianchi
Lake: The scene is well noted for its
dangerousness and uniqueness.
Qiongzhu
Temple: The most impressive features
in this temple are the 500 Arhat sculptures.
Compared with Bodhisattvas, Arhats look
more like human beings than Gods, and therefore
they are popular among the common people
and monks. |
